Insurance is not compulsory to let out a property, however we strongly recommend you take out Contents Insurance (to cover your contents only, not possessions belonging to the Tenant) or Landlords Insurance (in addition to cover for your contents, also covers you if a Tenant or visitor sues following an accident at the property) and Rent Guarantee Insurance (to cover Legal Costs in regard to property and rent arrears recovery, and protection to pay rent arrears owed by a Tenant whilst Endsleigh Insurance deal with the claim for property repossession).
