Installing Energy Saving Recommended double glazing can cut heat loss through windows by half. If you can't afford to replace all the windows, why not choose the rooms that cost you the most to heat?
How it works
Double glazing works by trapping air between two panes of glass creating an insulating barrier that reduces heat loss, noise and condensation.
The savings
Energy Saving Recommended double glazing can cut heat lost through windows by half, as well as saving you around £135 a year on your heating bills. It can also save you around 720kg of carbon dioxide (CO2) a year.

How the savings add up
If everyone in the UK who needed double glazing fitted it we'd save around £700 million and the equivalent of around 740,000 households' CO2 emissions.
How it is installed
Fitting double glazing is a professional job. Always look for the Energy Saving Recommended logo when choosing your windows - that way you can be sure they are the most energy efficient as the whole window (frame and glass) is assessed on a rating of A-G by the British Fenestration Ratings Council, If you're on a budget, fitting secondary glazing could be the answer. It's less expensive than replacement double glazing and will still save money by cutting heat loss and draughts.
Synseal Roof System Wintech Conservatory Test
A Synseal Complete Conservatory is available in a variety of woodgrain effect finishes as well as white. If you choose one of the woodgrain finishes your conservatory roof will have aluminium top caps not PVC-U. Because darker colours absorb more heat, the woodgrain effect finishes are applied to aluminium rather than PVC-U so they can withstand higher temperatures and remain perfect for years to come. View the video above to see results of the Synseal conservatory system weather tests, showing the strength and durability of this conservatory system.
Aluminium comes as standard for woodgrain effect top caps, but we also offer a high gloss powder coated aluminium top cap in white as an option.
